Study On Development Strategy Research Of City Group In Shandong Peninsula Based On SWOT Analysis

Today, the process of economic globalization is accelerating, the world economy is moving in the direction of regionalization, the spatial organization patterns of economic activity also tend to integration in the city and region areas. Some people predict that the economic development of developing countries is characterized for the city or city group in the 21st century. The city group is defined as a relatively complete city "collection" that constituted from a considerable number of cities with different nature, type and scale of cities in a specific geographical area .The city "collection" take one or two large or huge cities as a regional economic core based on the certain conditions of the natural environment and develop the intrinsic link of cities based on the modernization transport and integrated transport networks. In the 21st century, the development situation of China's regional economic which taken the city group as carrier has become more obvious. The city group in ShanDong Peninsula as one of our country's emerging city groups, it is taken much attention in the theory fields for its pace and potential of development.By investigation of the city group in ShanDong Peninsula and absorbing many research results of scholars ,the anthor introduced the SWOT analysis theory in the strategic management, and analysed the advantages and opportunities ,the disadvantages and threats in the process of development of the city group in Peninsula respectively. Then he proposed relevant policies in order to grasp the opportunity and the avoid threats to make the city group in Peninsula have faster and better development.The full text is about 37,000 words, divided into six chapters. And the article is structured as follows:Chapter 1: Introduction. The background and significance of the problems, the scope of the study, the theoretical significance, practical significance, ideas and content of the study.Chapter 2: Theory summary of the city group and provides a theoretical basis. Summarizing on the theory research on the city group of the domestic and foreign scholars ,and on the city group in ShanDong Peninsula of some famous domestic scholars.Chapter 3: SWOT analysis of city group in Peninsula. The chapter is the focus of this paper, using SWOT analysis tools, and taking a detailed analysis in the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the city group in Peninsula, then proposing a SWOT Matrix model.Chapter 4: Public policy proposals based on the SWOT analysis . The chapter is another focus of this paper, proposing the principle of public policy development and the recommendations that improving the development of city group in Peninsula.Chapter 5: Conclusions and research prospects. Summarizing the findings of the study and looking forward to the follow-up research ideas and direction.
