The researches of organizational behavior and staff relations that basing on the theory of social exchange are the common trend on the international academic research rencently.This paper taking the knowledge staff as the object takes the theoretical and empirical methods to analyze and establish the structure of perceived organizational support and the impact on the performance on the basis of reviewing of POS (Perceived Organizational Support) research and development. As the work value is taken as staff orientation of the value of the work itself which impacts performance also, this paper takes work value as research object to study the relationships among POS(Perceived Organizational Support), work value and performance, discussing the intermediary function of work value between POS(Perceived Organizational Support) and performance.First of all, this paper reviews relatives theories previously and points out the progress and inadequate. Then the structures of POS(Perceived Organizational Support), work value and performance are established and corresponding hypothesis are proposed to make sure the overall design. Then, this paper collects data by questionnaire survey. Based on the data of pilot study and large-sample, the paper studies the structures of variables by using a series of statistical analysis methods such as correlation analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis and path analysis.As the result, construction model and hypothesis of this the research are confirmed and reinforced.Though the analysis, the main conclusions of this paper can be indicated below:The POS ( Perceived Organizational Support ) can be divided into three dimensions:the narrow sense of perceived organizational support, the POS from supervisor, the POS from colleagues. The work value can be divided into four dimensions:working, organizational recognition, supervisor recognition and value in return. The POS of knowledge staff impact on the performance directly. The work value taken as an intermediate variable has intermediary function between the POS and performance.This study shows that different individual has different performance on POS, work, performance.
