The aim of this paper is analyzing the core competence of Chongqing heavy_duty casting and forging plant (CQCF) and finding out the way to improve its core competence. This paper chose the AHP_FCE methods, constructed fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, contrasted to the other five companies in railway industry and found the problems and shortcomings of CQCF in core competence.Firstly, this paper introduced the status of core competence theory and evaluating method in Domestic and international, analyzed the railway industry in detail, and given the model to evaluate the core competence of enterprise in railway industry.Secondly, this paper constructed the indexes and evaluation model of company in railway industry through nine aspects, i.e. Sales revenues and its growth rate, profit and its growth rate, net earnings of assets, productivity, technical innovation, R&D costs and firm's reputation.Thirdly, evaluated the six typical companies in railway industry through AHP_FCE, found the problems and short comes of CQCF's core competence.Finally, this paper made some suggestions to improve the core competence of CQCF from six aspects, i.e. increasing the net earnings of assets, enhancing the marketing capabilities, persisting in technical innovation, improving long term strategies, constructing the vigorous culture, training the stuff constantly. |
