In this heating competing social environment that enterprises are facing, establishing and improving corporate people-based management is fairly important to lift corporate core competence. A company can be a winner in the competition only when it manages its employee effectively, unleashes their potential and motivate their full ability as the most precious asset to the company.The traditional personnel management needs a thorough reform and innovative change since it cannot match human-based management idea and stand the increasing pressure brought by competition in terms of whether its management system or its method. Based on research findings both home and abroad, the paper performs a deep analysis and study over the corporate people-based management applying strategies, its practical methods and how to implement people-based management idea. The study has been put into use in people-based management in Nanjiang Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology Team of Chong Qing province.Using the team as studying object, the paper analyzes the situation in current phase, internal and external environment, mechanism, problems existing and their causes of human resources management, with integrating theory with practice, applying management, human resources management, organizational behavior and etc., and focusing on empirical analysis. In this aspect, with the use of people-based management, responding strategies and practical measurement are put forward to improve the geology team, providing the company with references in constructing corporate people-based management.Although the study is about a single case of Nanjiang Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology Team of Chong Qing province, the homogeneous nature of people-based management decides that a different company can adopt its own suitable measurement when combining its actual context and developing direction with improvable strategically plan that derives from extending the study of problems existed in the single case. The extending application to companies of the same kind through a single case is an outstanding feature and the main contribution of the paper.
