Spatial agglomeration is an important economic phenomenon and have an important impact on the economic development. In the past three decades, the phenomenon of Economics agglomeration provides a wealth of material. In academic theory, the spatial concentration created a new field of economics study. China' spatial agglomeration study on a late start until the 20th century in the late 1980s. China's scholars only have a systematic study about industrial clustering phenomenon. In China, except for a small number of scholars, the introduction and understanding on the economics of space is almost empty. The future, the further development of spatial agglomeration and the new economic geography will play a role to Economics, in particular, the construction of regional economic disciplines. This paper mainly applies the theory of concentration and Krugman economics (new geography of Economics) theory to explain economic activities across uneven distribution of space, trying to use a new economic theory to explain the phenomenon of spatial agglomeration economics, and attempting to empirical analysis the spatial agglomeration phenomena, from the theory and empirical analysis grasp spatial agglomeration phenomena and the associated economic effects. From space and regional perspective to the problem of gathering and analysis of economic impact, is a new perspective and ideas. In summing up relevant spatial agglomeration theories, the paper is based on the analysis of the macro perspective, and uses GIS, principal component analysis, the Gini coefficient to research spatial agglomeration phenomena of population, urbanization, and tertiary industries. The paper from the micro perspective, studies the manufacturing agglomeration characteristics by the use of the concentration of space. The paper use of econometric models and statistical methods to explore the economic effects of spatial concentration. Finally, bases on the empirical analysis and proposes some of the main conclusions.First, China's population is unevenly distributed. the performance has "less west, more east" trend and the population intensive areas. Second, the urban in a high level of spatial agglomeration is still mostly from the developed east areas, the low level of concentration from the undeveloped central and western provinces. Third, China's tertiary industries of the geographic concentration level remains low. But from the perspective of China's industry-specific clustering, we can see the trend of industry concentration. China's manufacturing spatial agglomeration is very obvious and has reached a very high level of concentration. Fourth, agglomeration factors have an effect on economic development, raising the level of agglomeration plays a certain role in promoting economic development. This paper explores the current international theory focus and domestic forefront of hot issues—spatial agglomeration, particularly in the empirical method more comprehensive evaluation of China's space gather momentum for coordinated regional economic development decision-making to provide a scientific basis for reality. Therefore, the theory of choice has strong forward and a positive practical significance.
