The Investigation Of Highway Passenger Transport And Countermeasure Research Of Its Improvement

With the rapid development of China's highway construction over the past 10 years, the national highway network has basically taken shape. The highway transport has become the backbone of the inter-city passenger transport and occupied the vast majority of the passenger transport market share , which provides a great convenience for the travel of the urban residents.But in recent years, as China's high-speed railway construction to speed up, in particular the inter-city trains and cars to a group trip, highway passenger transport faced increasing pressure of competition, market share declined significantly. How to deal with this situation is the problem for highway transport operators and industry administration departments urgent need to resolve. The thesis has respectively discussed main characteristics of highway and high-speed railroad passenger transport, has pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of the two modes of transport ways. It has submitted relevance tactics and suggestion here on the basis , which can further improve the highway passenger to reach the core competitiveness. The thesis mainly includes the following aspects:Firstly, the thesis of domestic and foreign scholars in the development of high-speed passenger progress were reviewed, the analysis of existing research results on the basis of summing up the deficiencies, bringing forward a new research direction and presenting the way and technology of research to meet the research objectives.Secondly, the thesis has carried out detailed analysis on the current situation of our country highway passenger transport with a view of actual work experience of author, has summed up mainly highway passenger transport characteristics and problems. Thirdly, the existing problems on highway passenger transport in combining high-speed railway was analyzed and compared the mode of transport for both the advantages and disadvantages of each, and their operating methods were compared in the thesis. Based on the above analysis, from three aspects of the transport structure adjustment, service quality improvement and operational system reform the thesis presents the related measures of the highway passenger transport development.Finally, with the combination of passenger status quo between Chengdu and Chongqing, the thesis puts forward specific measures and recommendations on the development of Chengdu-Chongqing expressway passenger transport.
