As a kind of modern way, High-speed railway has the advantages of fast, comfortable, punctuality, safety, and large transport capacity, the appearing of high-speed railway operate that not only increase the choice of travelers, but also to better meet the needs of different levels of travel. The opening and operation of high-speed railway that has brought a certain impact to the highway route passenger transport market, that also changed the original transport situation. In this context, We research that the influence of high-speed railway to the highway route passenger transport and cooperation relationship between of them, This have important meaning that to optimize the allocation of transport resources, improve the transportation efficiency of the transport mode, thus that realize the scientific organization of transport mode, reasonable allocate passenger flow of passenger transport channel, and then to that prompted the coordinated development and advantages complementary between of two transport mode has important meaning.This article analyses the related research at home and abroad, first, the technical and economic characteristics and business environment is comparative analysis of the two transport modes, that clarify their own competitive advantage, and obtain the relationship of competition and cooperation from interaction between the high-speed railway and highway route passenger transport; second, the article analysis the chief influence factors of passenger travel choice from the difference of transport mode service attributes, make quantitative analysis to the various influence factors, and using the generalized cost function and Logit model to build that based on different distance passenger sharing rate model; on this basis, that applicated analysis passenger sharing rate changed trend under different distance, the regnant distance range and cooperative domain of high-speed railway and highway routes passenger transport to Qinghai Province apply with model and Matlab software, come to conclusion that the critical point of regnant distance is L=105km of the two transport modes, the distance L<105km is regnant distance range of highway routes passenger transport, the distance L>105km is regnant distance range of high-speed railway, in the competition with high-speed railway, highway routes passenger transport original market is shrinking, at the same time, its "areas of cooperation" market get development and growth with high-speed railway; Next, the article analyses sensitivity that speed, freight rate and convenient influence on the regnant distance range of the transport mode; and were compared and analyzed two transport mode’s regnant distance and its sensitivity of East and west. Finally, the future developing strategy of highway route passenger transport enterprises is expounded from the two aspects of competition and cooperation.
