In the present market with increasingly keen competition, performance management has been the core of human resource management, which is one of the essential activities to achieve enterprise target. However, almost all of the enterprises meet some common problems when they carry out the performance management, such as how to design an effective and operational performance index system, how to collect performance information effectively in the process. In the meantime, the enterprises always regard performance management simply as performance evaluation, while neglect managing the process.This paper attempted to construct a performance evaluation system for staffs at L Hotel, by analyzing the flaws in current evaluation system, aiming at the common problems in the evaluation process, Balance Score Card (BSC) methodology is employed to construct the evaluation system, in addition, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied to derive the parameters of each index. This paper proposes a performance evaluation system for L Hotel, and, aiming at the problem to the evaluation system of L Hotel, founds an effective method and theory basis to establish and improve the Performance Evaluation System to hospitality enterprises.
