Study On Harmonious Development Of Chang-Jiu Urban Belt

From the perspective of global competition, the basic unit of 21st international economic competition is neither the enterprise nor the country. As a new spatial unit in the development of modern city, urban agglomeration would be the basic of international competition under the 21st globalization. The division, cooperation and competition among urban agglomeration will decide the pattern of the economy and politics of the future world .Although, the internal structure and economy connection of the urban agglomeration does not reach the required degree and level of the sound city system. With the rapid progress of industrialization and urbanization, collection between cities of urban agglomeration and among industries are strengthened and completed gradually.Jiangxi Province is in the central part of China. Compared with the top 3 big urban agglomeration, it is hard to be mentioned in the same breath with those 3 urban agglomeration for the Chang-Jiu Urban Belt. The main reason is that the whole economic level of province is not high. The same tendency of the industries structure is very high in the region, companying the excessive competition within the region. This competition is not only represent by the enterprises in the same development level taking part in the competition for the limited market share and resources in all parts of the majority .In addition, restricted by old thinking concept, old system and management style, some regions have their own dependent government and policy, having their own land and duplicate construction, which cause serious resource waste and environment pollution.The problems that the Chang-Jiu Urban Belt facing now are not problems of a town or a metropolis, but problems of how to integrate and improve metropolis themselves of the Chang-Jiu Urban Belt. Directed by scientific development theory, integrating production elements of metropolis group in the Chang-Jiu Urban Belt, we can clearly realize the definite and different functions of each city, their mutual benefits in Delta and new bursting energy.The study on harmonious development of metropolis group in the Chang-Jiu Urban Belt is dedicated to solve two following issues: The first is to analysis the actuality and the problems of development of the Chang-Jiu Urban Belt. The second is to establish estimation index system and model of metropolis group structure; to make clear the role of every metropolis in group, and to build a reasonable spatial structure pattern of metropolis to put forward constructive and operative measures.
