Research On Industry-city Integration For Chang-Zhu-tan Urban Agglomeration

In the process of rapid urbanization and industrialization, it’s vital to deal with the relation between Industry-city. Industry-city integration is, through the drive of urban development, aimed at creating production factors and market environment for industry clustering and upgrading, and it also provides economic support for urban renewal and facilities’ improvement through industrial development. And its final goal is to make industry, city and people cooperate each other, support each other and be in favorable interaction development. Industry-city integration emphasizes human- orientation, and it will push the land urbanization towards the trend of population urbanization. The research on Industry-city integration among city group around Chang-Zhu-Tan will promote its balanced development, and improve its urbanization quality and synthesized competitiveness.This paper, under the guidance of the theory of the evolution of industrial structure, the theory of compact cities and the theory of sharp increase, is based on the socioeconomic data, the data in urban and rural planning and the data of current situation of land utilization. City group around Chang-Zhu-Tan was taken as an example, with the help of softwares like SPSS19.0 and ARCGIS9.3, the research on Industry-city integration for Chang-Zhu-tan Urban Agglomeration was carried out by adopting documentary method, mathematical analysis, induction and summary method and empirical approach. The concrete research results indicated:(1) Industry-city integration measurement. Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan fall into the city of moderate integration, the city of minimal integration and the city of basic separation respectively. The level of Industry-city integration in the area of Chang-Zhu-tan Urban Agglomeration presents obvious difference; there is a certain positive correlation between Industry-city integration level and economic development level; Industry-city integration level presents scope character; public service facility takes a significant role in Industry-city integration. (2) Influencing factors and dynamic mechanism. The factors influencing Industry-city integration are mainly planning, industry, facility and scope factors, cultural impact and so on; the dynamic mechanism of Industry-city integration includes external motivation and internal motivation. The external motivation are mainly the pressure from international competition, the thrust of new-type urbanization and the driving force of macropolicy; the internal motivation are mainly the thrust of industrial upgrading, the thrust of urban function promotion and the self-organization of urban spatial evolution. (3) Industry-city integration countermeasures.On the whole, six countermeasures are put forwarded such as recombinating functions, blending space, clustering industry, layouting facility, developing transportation and optimizing environment. At the same time, based on the analysis of main features of three typical spatial unit of the old city, the new city and development zones, and the corresponding Industry-city integration countermeasures are put forward.
