Research Of Investment Control In Construction Project Design Phase

Engineering design spends the least time and capital in the whole process of a project, but it plays a critical role in it. Many factors influence on the design phase, for example, the different thoughts of the designers, so a project has many different schemes. A good design scheme must be not only the advanced skill, but also has more economic than others. The key job of investment control in design is to find the combination of technology and economy.After studying the investment control from theory to reality, the paper raises the importance on how to strengthen the investment control. First, summarize the concept and procedure of investment control in construction project. At the different phase of architectural design, the paper expatiates on the duty and the process of investment control. Second, introduce the measure of investment control from three aspects, value engineering, quota design and QC group. By the way of studying on investment control with an actual project, it proves feasibility. Finally, according to the existent problem, it analyses and raises some countermeasure to improve, the paper would show a direction of the study on investment control in architectural design field.
