Research On Investment Control Based On The Whole Process Of Construction Project

With the sustainable and rapid development of our country’s national economy,construction projects increasingly move into a new stage of large scale and high level.But such construction projects often face some problems, such as a long constructionperiod, high technical difficulties, a wide coverage and a huge investment. Any smallcarelessness may extremely easily result in runaway investment. Therefore, how toreasonably determine and effectively control the construction funds for preventing thebreakthrough of investment quota; how to promote all the construction parties tomake full use of human, material and financial resources in a reasonable and effectiveway for obtaining the best economic and social benefits. Those problems are not onlyrelated to the national, industrial and regional economic interests, but also haveimportant strategic significance to improve the regional economic structure, optimizethe allocation of industry resources, and promote the health, rapid and sustainabledevelopment of national economy.Based on the summarization of the previous research achievements, this papermade the following studies around the issue of how to effectively control investmentduring the whole process of the construction projects:1) This study summarized the theories and methods often adopted when makinginvestment control in the process of the construction projects at home and abroad.2) This study made a thorough analysis about three sorts of the most usedtheories of investment control, namely quota design, value engineering and standarddesign, and pointed out their significance, procedures and problems ofimplementation respectively, as well as the potential shortcomings at present.3) This study indicated the existing problems of the current government, owner,design, construction, supervision and all the concerned construction parties in thecourse of project investment control.4) By using the method of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, this study made atwo-two comparison about many factors affecting the investment control ofconstruction projects, calculated the total weight of each factor and thus obtained the force order of these factors. It also finally determined the focus of investment controlin the future.5) This study also deeply investigated the factors affecting the investment controlof construction projects, based on their respective weight of force, and put forward thecountermeasures and suggestions, which provide references for the future investmentcontrol of construction projects.
