Tourism is a positive industry, especially nowadays, tourism is not only important for people's life, but also it devotes a lot to development of economic and society of a nation, so more and more nations regard tourism industry as a important industry. Of course china must do this. But, in the process of tourism industry's development of different regions, each region has own especial advantage contrast with others because of different economic base, tourism infrastructure, tourism resource of different regions. Tourism competitiveness of the region takes a key effect to the development of the region.Hebei province is a big province with different kinds of tourism resources, including nature resources and historic culture resources, and some much famous tourism products, but Hebei province's tourism competitiveness is not better, it is not afford to image. Of course, tourism resources of Beijing may bring some bad effect to Hebei province's tourism resources, but this is not based data analysis, only for descriptive analysis. The paper focus on the tourism competitiveness of Hebei province, and choose other thirties provinces as contrast objects, get a true appraisal about Hebei province through the Principal Component Analysis, and find true reason why Hebei province fall behind other advanced provinces, thus find some good methods and advices to improve tourism competitiveness of Hebei province.According to the data analysis, it is found that Hebei's tourism competitiveness is in the middle of our country, the core competitiveness of the tourism is thirteenth; though the base competitiveness is more lagger, but it is resulted from nature environment, economic base is better in the country, so if Hebei wants to enhance the tourism competitiveness swiftly, firstly enhance the economic competitiveness, especially the nature environment, and strengthen the infrastructure, improve level and quality of the service, in other word, it is a must to increase the effort between base competitiveness and tourism core competitiveness, the paper put forward countermeasures and suggestions. The countermeasures are which method should be adopted to improve the competitiveness of the Hebei province; Suggestions is that the Hebei should adopt some wisdom strategy to alter the condition. Hebei is a big province, to such a big province, carrying on tourism competitiveness analysis is a practice for Regional Tourism Research that has not only enriched the study of tourism competitiveness, but also has a practical significance for Hebei Province tourism after the upgrade the competitiveness of the tourism industry.
