The Management Of Early Period Operation Of Investment Projects In The Water Industry

Due to the lack of water resources in China and the great demand of water supply from a population of 1. 3 billion, the market of water supply and treatment of sewage industry grow steadily. To 2005, the market will be one thousand billions yuan, many chances in the market. With the process of deregulation, the investment and merger in the water industry increase.There are Industry characteristic and the particularity of investment projects in the water industry. In the paper, firstly, the investment projects in the water industry are classified and analyzed according to their own characteristics. The early period operation includes preliminary research and analysis, the production of the Feasibility Analysis Report, staffing and training of team of research and analysis, team of running and management. Secondly, the feasibility study in the early period operation is analyzed using project management methods. The standardization of the feasibility analysis, the improvement of analysis process, the particularity of the investment and merger in the water industry and the features of the industry are also discussed. Then, the methods of project management are applied to analyze the staffing and training of personnel in the early period operation, what are focused on in the training.In this paper, an example of investigate and analysis the feasibility of the project, is associated with the application of project management tools,decomposed the early period operation and produced the Feasibility Analysis Report, analyzed the venture of the project, then get the purpose of the paper.
