Study On Problems And Countermeasures Of Land Supply Under Urban Management

The basic condition of China of large population and small per capita land requires economizing on land resources. But the rapidly development of urban management is remarkably making the cultivated area reduced and the state grain safe threatened. Inside cities, there are many problems in the land supply. To solve the two problems, it is necessary to effectively control the land supply and to reform the supply system. This evolved the practical purpose of this study. The study analyzed the affection of urban land supply in both quantity and quality. The study put the problems of land supply under urban management and researched its causes in economics and in system. This evolved the theoretical purpose of this study.This study was based on Microeconomics, Urban Economics and Land economics. This study adopted theoretical analysis mainly and practical analysis complementarily. On the rest of overall research from present situation to problems and their causes, the study offered some policy advice.The conclusions of the study include:Under the urban management, there are some problems in land supply. In quantity, the elasticity of the increase of urban land supply is much too large than the level elasticity and plenty of land is unused. The supply is more than the developmental demand both of cities but of the economics. In structure, supply to real estate is more than to public demand and the addition is more than the existing land reused. In policy, the direction is vacillating and conflict. Also, the execution of policy is not fully.The causes lie in over-demand, market speculation, and profit contest.To solve these problems, three principles should be followed: protect cultivated land, adapting land supply to economical development, and supplying on market. Then the study offers some policy advice.
