With our rapid economic development, social progress and a substantial increase in personal income, it has presenting a focused trend: the attitude of personal wealth, ideas and ways to deal with have taken place with great changes than before, so the personal finance is becoming people's attention focus. Personal Finance is a systematic project and a combination of individual investors making use of a variety of investment tools in a number of markets. After our accession to the WTO, foreign banks will focus on fighting for the high-quality customers by using their huge financial strength, flexible operational mechanism, and rich management experience. Intensifying market competition forced domestic commercial banks to open up new areas of business and search for new profit growth. Personal Financial Service, with its broaden field, multi-volume, low-risk, personalized, a stable income, and high value-added, has become natural requirement for The Commercial Banks to survive and develop.In such a background, how to seize the high-quality clients, occupy the customers'market, obtain greater profits, and meet the challenges of accession to the WTO? How to develop our Personal Financial Service and deepen the connotation of financial management? How to provide customers with more personalized service to create unique enterprise culture and improve the core competitiveness of Commercial Banks? These will become an issue to be solved for our banking industry.This article, according to the development of Personal Financial Services, outlined its definition, types and characteristics, and analyzed the factors which constrain domestic development of Personal Financial Services: lack of the sufficient attention, the financial policies and legal constraints, the constraints of the quality of employees, the financial products, strong technical support, and so on. Through leaning from foreign banks, and combining with the actual situation of commercial banks in China, the article briefly describes ideas, methods and strategies of the development of Personal Financial Services in our banking industry: state-owned commercial banks need to change management concept, conduct a positive environment for building and nurturing, improve customer relationship management system and implement differentiated services, adhere to innovation and development, train financial managers and practice client-manager system, establish a personal credit system, and so on. Further understand the content of Personal Financial Services, and make the sustainable development of Personal Financial Services by step and stage.This article consists of five parts. The first part introduces the meaning and the background of our Personal Financial Services of Commercial Bank, including the meaning and the characteristics of the Personal Financial Services, the theoretical basis and business development background at home and abroad. The second part describes the situation of Personal Financial Services, mainly from the development of Personal Financial Services and the development of the situation, start with an analysis of the inevitability of the development of Personal Financial Services. The third part specifically analyses the objective and subjective factors which constrain the development of Personal Financial Services of Commercial Banks, and demonstrates the social background and causes of the constraints. The fourth part, in accordance with Chapter III and the analysis of the status issues of the constraints of Personal Financial Services, comes up with the strategies to develop Personal Financial Services. The last part is the conclusion.
