Research On Balancing Urban And Rural Development By Macrocosm Urbanization In Shapingba District

Balancing urban and rural development is the significant strategic decision made by the Central Committee of CPC according to our characteristic and the main contradiction in the lately period of the economic social development. Balancing urban and rural development concentrates on breaking the urban-rural dual structure, resolving the problems of agriculture, rural area and farmers, and contracting the disparity between city and country. Balancing urban and rural development aims to achieve the national economy developing continuously quickly and healthily, to coordinate economy and society development, and to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects. In June 2007, State Department gives formally approve to Chongqing as a national experiment area of balancing urban and rural development with synthesis supporting reformation. Meanwhile, it gives the heavy request that Chongqing should establish the new system of balancing urban and rural development as soon as possible, setting a good demonstration and promoting a whole country's deep reformation. Currently, Chongqing is pushing forward the balancing urban and rural development with synthesis supporting reformation with all strength. However, this work is still at the starting period, and it is in great need of active exploration. There is a variety of difficulties in the fulfillment.This essay programs the balancing urban and rural development pattern of Shapingba District by analyzing the physical truth and drawing lessons from the research findings and practical experience of balancing urban and rural development at home and abroad. First of all, this essay studies the connotation and characteristic of balancing urban and rural development, the essence and pattern of urbanization, and the elementary meaning of macrocosm urbanization. It also researches into the dialectical relationships among the three above. It integrates the opinion with the physical truth of Shapingba District, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of balancing urban and rural development and fulfilling macrocosm urbanization, and puts forward some concrete measures of balancing urban and rural development and macrocosm urbanization. In the end, it comes to the conclusion that macrocosm urbanization is the correct choice to settle the balancing urban and rural development.
