Study On Urbanization Development Of Tongliang County In Chongqing In The Context Of Balancing Urban And Rural

For a long time, with the influence of the planned economy system, the development strategies that we carry out are that China's rural areas support the urban areas, and agriculture supports industry, which not only has played a major role in social and economic development in China, but also has led to the socio-economic urban-rural dual structure significantly. How to narrow the urban-rural gap, and how to solve the highlighting issues of agriculture,countryside and farmers have become the focus of the community.Chongqing is a large city with large rural areas, large reservoir area, large mountainous areas and ethnic areas. So, there is a long way to go for Chongqing to get Co-ordinating development between urban and rural. China began to implement new development strategy that industry nurturing agriculture and cities supporting rural. June 2007, Chongqing had been established the reformat ional experiment plot of the city and countryside synthesis coordinated reforms in the country, which not only has provided a major strategic opportunity for coordinated urban-rural socio- economic development in Chongqing but also has put forward higher requirements for the development of Chongqing's urbanization.Tongliang County, close to the main city, is located in an important position called the "one-hour economic circle"; in recent years, Tongliang County is committed to creating function expansion zone around the main city, has made great achievements in urban construction, and economic advantages and location advantage have improved significantly, but there is still a wide gap from the goals of the development of balancing urban and rural. Through this research, the author hopes to provide Tongliang County for reference for how to maintain urbanization sustainable and healthy development and how to realize the rural and urban co-ordination in the context of macroeconomic environment.This thesis analyses the current development condition and the existing problems and reasons of the development of urbanization in Tongliang in the context of urban and rural development, according to the relative data; Based on the relevant theory of balancing urban and rural and urbanization, the general goal, the specific path and countermeasures of the development of urbanization of Tongliang has been put forward. This thesis is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction, which mainly introduces the research background, meaning, purpose, main point and difficulties, and research methods; the second part defines two core concepts in this thesis: balancing urban and rural and urbanization. Besides, in this part, the author also presents the related research at home and abroad, on the basis , the author explores linkages between balancing urban and rural and urbanization; the third part is the analysis of the current situation of urbanization of Tongliang, and the author generally introduces geographic, economic, urban development of Tongliang and focuses on the status of Tongliang urbanization; the fourth part explains the problems in the process of urbanization development of Tongliang from the following three perspectives: the rate of urbanization, urbanization quality and the rural and urban economic level and then analyzes the four factors that constrain the healthy development of urbanization; in the fifth part, based on the study of the previous chapters, the author presents the overall objective, specific ideas, and the specific countermeasures of the development of urbanization in Tongliang from the three aspects like urban and rural planning, industrial structure and institutional innovation in the context of balancing urban and rural; in the sixth part, the author points out the conclusion of this article, gives an analysis of the shortcomings of this article, and suggests the direction of further research.
