Investigation And Suggestions On The Psychological Stress Of The Bank Employees In Deyang City, Sichuan Province

Psychologists'researches reveal that without effective moderation or mitigation, one's psychological stress will be transformed into reverse motive, which could result in his/her abnormal behavior. Bank employees'psychological stress, caused by their occupation, interpersonal relationship and professional features, etc., will be both physically and psychologically unwholesome, and even disturb their normal life, if it cannot be well vented or channelized. Therefore, how to handle the psychological stress of the bank employees effectively has already become a practically urgent problem to every banking administrator. Taking the bank employees of Deyang City as its object of study, this research makes series of qualitative and quantitative analysis through questionnaire survey, documents and interviews, and describes the negative influence of their psychological stress and present situation of stress handling. Meanwhile, this research analyses the main influential factors of psychological stress to the bank employees, exposits the characteristics of the bank employees under negative influence of psychological stress, probes the current situation of their views of stress, and finally puts forward some prescriptions and suggestions of effective handling of their psychological stress.The conclusion of this research is as follows:①27.8% of the bank employees are equipped with a positive view of stress, but to reflect their view of stress, more guiding and instruction by the management is indicated.②Psychological stress has a great negative influence widely on the bank employees of Deyang City, among which 1/3 even suffer from it to a greater extent.③There are three characters presented about the people under greater negative influence of psychological stress can mainly be classified into the following groups:1) people working in policy-oriented banks.2) people with academic qualifications of junior colleges,.3) people with primary professional positions,④In respect of the factors influencing psychological stress,1) people with the lower academic qualifications are more vulnerable to the factor of working pay.2)Males are apter to be influenced by their cognition than females. Meanwhile, the elder the employees are,.3)the greater they will be influenced by their own cognition.⑤There is a great distinction in the factors causing psychological stress between bank employees with different educational degrees or those working in different departments. For instance, the employees with academic qualifications of junior colleges and the ones working in grass-root business halls are most liable to be influenced by their mood.⑥The most difficult psychological stress for the bank employees to alleviate is that caused by interpersonal relationships, while the easiest one is that caused by family stress.Here are some prescriptions and suggestions:①in terms of any organization1)to help bank employees build up a correct view of pressure;2)to devise a helping scheme for bank employees;3)to make diagnosis of psychological stress and to create a file for it;4)to provide consultation and remedial instruction on psychological stress alleviation;5)to organize psychological trainings;6)to devise and improve office psychohygiene and working environment;7)to strengthen the propaganda of psychological health of the bank employees②in terms of any individual1)to have unambiguous perception and acceptable attitude to psychological stress;2)to get adept in transforming stress into impetus;3)to seek social support on one's own initiative and to learn how to relieve stress: first, to relax; second, to abreact; third, to equilibrate;4)to make voluntary self-control of one's own psychological stress;5)to build up a good human interaction circle;6)to take physical exercises periodically.
