The Optimization Of Apparel Industry Structure In Beijing

The apparel industry has become an industry with economic comprehensive, not only does its industrial structure directly influences the growth of the total amounts of the apparel manufacturing industry, but also has a profound influence on the level of the development and the economic benefit of the Publish Industry, Exhibition Industry and Education. Therefore, the optimization of the apparel industrial structure is the important contents of the economic development research of the apparel industry.Based on the practice of the adjustment of the apparel industrial structure, the thesis defines the meaning of the apparel industrial structure and confirms the demarcation of the apparel industrial structure by using the theories and methods of the industrial economics and the regional economics. Secondly, the thesis inspects the evolution process of the Beijing apparel industry in the past 30 years with the data of Beijing apparel industry covariance, and makes systematic analyses of the current condition of the internal factors of the apparel industrial structure and the industrial structure benefit of the apparel industrial structure in Beijing with the method of comparative analysis and the Shift-share Method. Based on the above analysis, the thesis educes the conclusion that the apparel industry in Beijing is still at the primary stage and not quite mature, both of industry scale and benefit are at low levels. Though the analysis, we could find that there exists something unreasonable in Beijing apparel industry. The industry scale as well as its economic benefit needs to be improved. There are many reasons for this phenomenon, but the incompatible development of internal factors of the apparel industry, the irrational structure of the apparel industry, and not be able to change the apparel industry from quantity-oriented development model to the quality and efficiency-based development model are the most fundamental reasons. In terms of the analytical results, the thesis summarizes the characteristics of the apparel industrial structure in Beijing and points out the existed problems and the targets of optimization. Finally, the thesis puts forward the measures and the suggestions of the optimization of the apparel industrial structure in Beijing.
