Study On The Present Situation And Development Of Personalized-travel Vehicles On Expressway

With the development of society and economy, China's automobile fleet maintains a rapid growth. Among various transportation modes, only the highway can supply personalized travel service. In recent years, as the expansion and optimization of China's expressway network, the proportion of personalized-travel vehicles increased. Moreover, the number of passengers and the quantity of passenger-kilometers completed by these vehicles accounted for a large proportion. Therefore, this paper researches the present situation of personalized-travel vehicles and the trend of their development.Firstly, in accordance with the actual situation, the author frames methods for passenger vehicle sample survey. Based on the experience of investigation, this paper sums up concrete implementation situation for the method, and tests the result's quality by large sample overall average estimate. Secondly, through sample analysis, combining with expressway toll database information of the corresponding section at the same period, the situation of passenger travel by expressway network is got. This paper focuses on the passenger number per vehicle which has five and seven seats and analyzed other correlation ration. Finally, combining the real status of the personalized-travel vehicles on expressway, the author analyzes the trend of personalized-travel vehicles on four aspects below: the problem about oil price climbing, energy shortage, parking problem in urban areas, the personalized-travel vehicle structure of United States and the opening of the second car market in our country.
