A Study On The Performance Assessment Of Construction Project Management Team

Project team management is a core job of project management. It is the guarantee for achieving the project objectives and improving project management level to implement project management team performance assessment successfully. This thesis focuses on specific conditions of highway construction industry and construction enterprises, sums up many methods and achievements of performance assessment, mainly studies how to establish a performance appraisal system, how to implement performance assessment scientifically and effectively. It integrates a variety of performance appraisal theories such as Balanced Scorecard, Key Performance Indicator and Management by Objective. It also uses the ideas of network planning and PDCA cycle for reference and makes the implementation of performance assessment more maneuverable and more practical. In the study it takes full advantage of the existing literature, comprehensively uses research methods of comparison and classification, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, case studies and so on. The main contents and conclusions of this study will be helpful and referential for project management teams to practice internal performance assessment and evaluation.
