As a key part of state-owned enterprise reform, remuneration distribution system reform is an important step for the enterprise to stablize the backbones and attract persons with ability in order to enhance its human resource superiority and improve the competitiveness. For years, Tianjin Petrochemical (TPCC) persists in the principle of efficiency priority and competitiveness consolidation, and it has made some achievements in remuneration system reform. However, in order to face the rigorous challenge of economic globalization and day-to-day fierce market competition, TPCC still has some gap to fill when compared with the advanced system of the same industry worldwide with regard to the establishment of incentive and restriction mechnism in remuneration distribution system reform as required by the objective market economy.Based on the analysis of current status and existing problems of remuneration management system of TPCC, firstly, the thesis has reviewed and analyzed the progress of remuneration management development of both western countries and China. It gives its expectation on the trend of development of global remuneration management and also the direction that Chinese enterprises shall follow. Secondly, the thesis has demonstrated the advantages and disadvantages as well as chance and threat of remuneration management of TPCC. It has set forth the strategic development objective for TPCC in the reform of remuneration management system falling together with the development trend. Thirdly, the thesis has concluded the practice of more than one year reform within the enterprise, and made relatively detailed design in terms of guidance concept, principle and basic process of TPCC's remuneration management system according to the strategic development objective.The author has participated the whole process of orgnizing the activities of design and reform of TPCC's remuneration management system. Hopefully, with this research and analysis, TPCC will learn from experience and get well-prepared for further reform on remuneration management system after the 17th NCCPC.
