Strategic Analysis On Building Xiamen International Shipping Center In The Background Of Serve Trade Liberalization

In recent years, the concept of the Liberalization of Service Trade has been a hot subject for many economists. Service Industry is leading the world economic growth in the 21 century. It is the engine to push the world economic growth. It has also become the standard measurement to a country's ability in terms of international competition. One important characteristic of The Liberalization of Service Trade rests on lifting the bans on the service industry. While the service trade becoming freer across the world, Xiamen, as the entrance the northeast area of China to the world and the building core of the economic zone on the west side of the straits and the important city of direct shipping through Taiwan Channel, is facing both the chance and the challenge.In this paper, we make an attempt to the study on building Xiamen International Shipping Center in the Background of Serve Trade Liberalization and put forward strategic emphasis .To achieve our research objective, this paper based on the previous research and make use of the theory knowledge and the technology method of International Service Trade, International, Economics , Macroeconomics and other disciplines. Through analyzing the background of Liberalization of Service Trade and the formation of International Shipping Center, we make a strategy orientation of Xiamen International Shipping Center and further discussion on the existing problems and factors affecting the process of Xiamen international shipping center building. Based on the above, we put forward some countermeasures on building Xiamen International Shipping Center.We come to a conclusion on this paper that the Liberalization of Service Trade is a double-edged sword at present situation. It shows positive and negative effects on Xiamen International Shipping Center. With the changes of the governmental function, the development of producer service, the balance of the regional Service Trade and the building up a framework of scientifically developing human resources and training personnel with comprehensive talents, we believe that the construction of Xiamen International Shipping Center will benefit from the processing of liberalization of service trade.
