With the continuous progress and development of technology,aggravating increasingly of the market competition,and the continuous change of the competing means,the manufacturing industry comes into a circumstance with much more drastic competition.With the increasingly proportion of the diversification of products, customers,and multi-species,single-piece and small volume production systems,China's manufacturing industry fully aware of importance of facility layout design for the entire production and manufacturing systems.The Material handling and transportation cost occupies about 20%-50%of the total cost in manufacturing enterprise.Excellent facility layout can reduce that cost about 10%-30%.Meanwhile the required space of a factory can be reduced about 40%-60%compared with the conventional manufacturing.An efficient and reasonable facility layout is the premise and security for the fast and effective material handling and supply,and is one of the most important and effective means to increase productivity,and also is an important factor to determine the competitiveness of manufacturing enterprise market.The facility layout problem is an important part of the logistics management in manufacturing companies.The increasingly complex demands of the logistics have newer and higher requirements to the manufacturing enterprises facilities especially logistics facilities.In the existing manufacturing enterprise logistics management system,logistics buffer zone layout problem is one of problems which get the more attention.Logistics buffer zone is a process-based logistics facility which services the production lines supply with high efficiency.Reasonable and scientific logistics buffer zone can make a smooth material flow in the buffer zone,make material transit route avoid convoluted and crossing,facilitate the handbarrows' operations,and so on.The intensity and the difficulty of the internal logistics of workshop will be reduced effectively.Material handling efficiency will be speeded up,as well as service quality will be improved.And the entire production system will be ensured to progress smoothly.Using scientific and rational means to solve the design and optimization problems of logistics buffer zone layout is a very important content in logistics management of production manufacturing enterprises,and also the premise and security for enterprises to achieve efficient and modern logistics programs.Based on the contexts this article has researched the logistics buffer zone layout in manufacturing enterprise as follows:Firstly,this paper expounded the research background,and then proposed the main contents and technology way of this paper based on concluding research status of facility layout problem at home and abroad.Secondly,this paper introduced some theoretics about facility layout design, summarized the development of the methods of facility layout design and modeling methods,summarized typical models about facility layout problem,and analyzed various algorithms and their advantages and disadvantages for solving facility layout problem. Meanwhile the planning process of logistics facility operation regional area was analyzed. Taking the method of area calculation of the storage area as an example,the method of area calculation of the operation regional in logistics buffer zone was introduced according to different storage strategies.That made a solid theoretical foundation for the research of the logistics buffer zone layout.Thirdly,this paper gave the precise description of the logistics buffer zone layout problem in production manufacture enterprises and set up the mathematic model of solving the logistics buffer zone layout problem,which the minimum transit moment and maximum the adjacent correlation are taken as objective function.In the method of solving the logistics buffer zone layout,this paper proposed a genetic algorithm based on sequence-pair,which used a pair of sequence pair to express the layout and natural number was used to chromosomes coding to simplify the solving process.And the penalty function was added to the adaptive degree function to resolve the constraint problem.A roulette choosing method and the similar PMX cross method were adopt.Fourthly,MATLAB programming was used to realize the algorithm that the paper has brought forward,and realized the automatic optimization of various layouts effectively.Take weld-assembly workshop's logistics buffer zone layout for example to gain one optimization layout and analyze the feasibility of the algorithm.This paper has also designed the procedure interface to convenience the operator.The optimization layout was corrected and its inside was layouted in detail According to the optimization result and practical conditions,and the final optimization solution of this example was obtained. Fifthly,eM-Plant software was used to simulate and verify the layout solusion of this article.Various data which can reflect the effect of the buffer zone layout solution such as the inventory of parts in buffer zone,the size of storage areas and the utilization of logistics tools were obtained by running the simulation model,analyzing and dealing with output data.The result is that fully verified the reasonable,feasibility and efficiency of the layout solusion and further proposed the improvable measures for improve the layout of the buffer zone,which is to enhance the efficiency of the logistics supply and quality of service,and also can provide forceful basis for the managers to carry through the scientific management.In the research on the production manufacture enterprise logistics buffer zone layout problem in this paper,not only combined use of the sequence pair and genetic algorithm, and also carried out the algorithm by using Matlab program which can get comparative optimization of layout solusions in different parameter conditions.And then eM-Plant software was used to verify the rationality and feasibility of the solution by using various parameters.This can early estimate the problems which may arise,and proposed corresponding preventive measures,so that can perfect the layout further.That could avoid waste of the financial,human and time,and realize the science of producing logistics.The paper's research method is scientific and reasionable,and is of vital significance both in theory and practice.
