With the development of market economy,there is a lot of cut-throat competition among the enterprises in china,and employee's job burnout has caused wide attention of the managers and scholars.The result of "The Research of the Current Situation of China's Workers' Job Burnout" which was carried out by the china human resources development network(www.Chinahrd.com) in March 2008 showed that nearly 32.4%of respondents had moderate job burnout and 10.8% of respondents serious job burnout.The research of worker's job burnout is becoming more and more urgent.The objectives of this research is to know the current situation of knowledge worker's job burnout in the private enterprise in china and to analyze the factors that affect job burnout,then to provide theoretical basis and help to adjust and relieve the job burnout status for managers.The research takes questionnaire survey method.Many knowledge workers in the private enterprises from Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Dongguan,Huizhou are investigated on a revised inventory of job burnout and a self-made inventory of influencing factors of job burnout.Date is analyzed with SPSS11.5 statistic software.The conclusions are as follows,(1) Knowledge workers in the private enterprise possess moderate levels of job burnout and cynicism is serious.(2) The levels of job burnout differ by the age,education levels,work time in the position and average annual income.But there isn't a gender differences with different gender.(3) Career development channels,achievement motivation,work - family conflict,social support for the knowledge workers in the private enterprise have a significant impact on job burnout.Career development channels,achievement motivation,social support have significant negative correlations with job burnout.And work-family conflict has significant positive correlation with job burnout.
