Research On The Migrant Workers Work-related Injury Insurance Of Shanxi Province

With the constant advancement of industrialization and urbanization, a large number of migrant workers have emerged since the 80s of the last century. They have made important contributions to China's economy and society, and also changed the original order of society at the same time, leading to a series of social problems. The former work-related injury insurance of our country can only cover workers in urban enterprises and institutional organizations. Migrant workers are the people who are on the edge of the crowd and disadvantage, being away from the urban residents. They can not enjoy the benefits of work-related injury insurance. The issues of migrant workers'social security have become more and more outstanding in the long run, especially migrant workers'work-related injury insurance.In recent years, migrant workers in Shanxi coal mines and construction sites have had injury accidents time after time, which has attracted attentions from all sectors of society. Shanxi's migrant workers'work-related injury insurance has started later and is still at an exploratory stage. Due to the lack of a complete system, the implementation of migrant workers'work-related injury insurance in Shanxi Province is even more difficult. This thesis has discussed the reasons for the lagging of migrant workers'work-related injury insurance and the migrant workers'urgent needs for the insurance through deep studies of the situation, combining with the characters of high-risk industries and a large number of migrant workers in Shanxi province. Besides, the thesis has discussed the feasibility of constructing a migrant workers'work-related injury insurance system from the sides of economic environment and policy support for farmers in Shanxi province and has introduced the successful experience of the developed areas, by comparing the modes of Shanghai and Guangdong to draw the useful reference. This thesis has designed some ideas about construction of the new mode of migrant workers'work-related injury insurance ---Shanxi Mode, combining with the actual situation of difficulties for the running of migrant workers'work-related injury insurance and put forward some specific measures.
