With the advancement of science and technology and the improvement of people’s living standards, the number of electronic products is also increasing, at the same time consumers’requirements for diversification and personalization of electronic products are much higher. As a result, the replacement of electronic products is becoming faster and faster, and the number of electronic scraps eliminated is increasing all the time. Now with the people’s awareness of environmental protection, the people of the world are gradually beginning to pay attention to the reverse logistics of electronic products. In our country, several laws about the reverse logistics of electronic products have been brought out. From this we can see the efforts our government has made. But until now there is not a complete and effective reverse logistics of electronic industry in our country. As to the manufacturers of electronics industry, they are paying more and more attention to the reverse logistics too. Although they have to pay a lot to build the reverse logistics, they also realize that the reverse logistics of electronic scraps can help them reduce the material consumption, reduce their cost, satisfy customers’demands, expand the market share, get the effective information, improve the quality management, set up a good enterprise image.Based on the above background, in this thesis, through the analysis of the related concepts of reverse logistics, basic process, characteristics and functions of reverse logistics, the problems existed in the reverse logistics of electronic scraps in China, we mainly studies some important problems about the operation of reverse logistics from the electronic product manufacturing enterprise’s angle. This thesis attempts to make a study on the following aspects about reverse logistics quantitatively and qualitatively. First of all, it does research on the operational mode selection of electronics industry reverse logistics. After introducing the reverse logistics system’s structure and function modules briefly, it puts forward three kinds of reverse logistics operation modes. That is the self-supporting mode, the associated mode and the third party operation mode. Then it compares the three modes qualitatively. At last, through setting a model and analyze it, it gets a quantitative method to choose a suitable mode. After that, it does research on the site selection of the recycling center. After describing the problem and discussing its importance, it points out the factors that influence the site selection of the recycling center. Then it brings out a new method, Fuzzy Integrated Evaluation, to solve this problem, and shows the detailed analysis of the process. At last, it does research on the performance evaluation of a reverse logistics system. It tries to use Analytical Hierarchy Process to solve this problem. In this part, firstly, it points out the theory basis of using AHP to evaluate the performance of a reverse logistics system. Secondly, it constructs the reverse logistics performance evaluation index system. Lastly, it introduces the whole evaluation process specifically and detailed.In general, this thesis deeply analyzes three important problems of electronic industry reverse logistics system in China, the operational mode selection, the site selection of the recycling center, the performance evaluation of a reverse logistics system. It can help the electronic product manufacturing enterprise to make decisions on establishing, operating and evaluating reverse logistics system.
