Study On Overall Strength Evaluation Of Tourism Major

The tourism major has been nearly 30 years'history in China. During these 30 years, higher education transfers from " elite education " to "popular education ". Although the extension development of tourism major is rapid, its substantial development has lagged behind. There are many questions ,such as unreasonable resources deployment, irregular teaching level, mixed graduate and varied appraisal etc. Employers and the general examinee guardians need to have an objective and reasonable appraisal for the reflection to the overall strength evaluation of tourism major.Tourism education appraisal can be divided into two parts: Tourism education course evaluation and Tourism comprehensive strength appraisal. The former only reflects the one side of tourism education; The latter is the whole synthesis strength view and appraisal to the tourism major, which is the reflection to the concentrated intrinsic spirit and the external characteristic .Based on the overall strength evaluation of tourism major., I establish a specialized evaluating indicator system with analytic hierarchy process. At last I take some universities in Liaoning for examples to appraise.This article mainly includes four aspects: First, the introduction, mainly elaborated the research content, the research frame as well as the research method and the innovation place and so on. Second, the development of tourism industry and tourism major have outlined the development of tourism industry and the tourism's formation; Based on the development of tourism major ,it detailedly introduced present question and bring the concept of tourism major as well as its necessity. Third, the selection and construction of the overall strength evaluation of tourism major. It also elaborated the basic principle , the basic step and the mathematical model. According to the analysis, it established the evaluating system and carry on the consistency check. Fourth, analyzing tourism major in some Liaoning universities and colleges and carrying on the empirical analysis by using the evaluation model. It confirms the evaluation model's feasibility and obtains results. I hope that it can provide some beneficial models to the school development with the analysis.
