A Study On Combination And Optimization Of Urban Group Space In Shandong Peninsula

Since the late 1980's, with the industrialization spreading globally and tremendous reforms on the relationship between post-industrial economic organizations, the cities and towns take up the evolution characteristics of group and network gradually, so that a large complex regional cities and towns are developing in groups. This phenomenon reflects as cities and towns group were combined by many cities and towns in geo-spatial. As the rapid development of social economic and over consuming of resources, the coordination development of cities and towns space, which has become one of international concerned hot issues, is an unavoidable problem. The urban group space is not only one of new social and economic organization mode in the world, but also an expression form of culture and ecological view on specific regions. It focus on the regions including cities and towns, countryside and eco-space, and the main issue is how to make a good relationships between cities and towns, between urban construction and ecological environment in an increasingly competitive circumstance, and explore the principles and methods of urban group space combination.The thesis takes detailing analysis on the connotation of urban group and urban group space as the basis, combining with the regional empirical research, do the overall analysis from the constituent elements, evolution mechanisms, overall portfolio, sub-combinations, ect. of the urban group space. This paper is divided into six parts: preface, systemic analysis of group urban space, overall thoughts on urban group space portfolio, optimization countermeasures to urban group space, as well as conclusion and discussion.The first part is Preface; it mainly introduces the connotation of urban group space, also the article background and study significance of this thesis. On the basis of summary domestic and overseas relevant research results on urban group space, this part explains the research methods and technical route of the thesis.The second part firstly summaries domestic and overseas relevant defining methods of urban group space, explains its constituent elements, and reveals the overall mechanism of urban group space evolution from three aspects–process of space self-organization, process of socio-economic evolution, process of policy regulation. This part also explains the thinking principle of urban group space combination, and introduces the rules based on former.The third part defines the range of urban group space in Shandong Peninsula, and analyzes its historical evolution, contemporary characteristics and the power mechanism of the evolution.The fourth part is the empirical research. From the realistic requirements of the region overall development, this part put forward the mode of urban group space total portfolio, and subdivide into three sub-networks.The fifth part is the optimization countermeasures of urban group space. These countermeasures are put up from four aspects correspond–to strengthen the leading role of central city to the whole regions; to guide the urban space to expand toward major economic ties direction; to implement the economic synergy strategy based on t competitiveness promotion; to reinforce the coordination governance on regional space.The last part is the conclusion of the thesis. It gives the summarization of the results, and points out the shortcomings exist and some issues that need to be further explored in the thesis.
