Research On City Female's Selection Of Public Leisure Space And The Influencing Factors

With the promotion of building a people-oriented and harmonious society, leisure activity gradually becomes the indispensable constituent in urban residents' life. Meanwhile, the correlation between urban female's leisure activities and public space has been continuously strengthened. Clearing the characteristics and influencing factors of the selection of urban females on public leisure space, and being as an important factor into planning and construction of public leisure space, then to serve and improve urban females' leisure life, is the task which the society and industry of leisure and tourism faces together.Based on the theory of leisure restriction and motivation, this paper initially constructs the structure model and system of influcing factors of urban females' selection on public leisure space, and verifies its scientificity using factor analysis and variance analysis. The final structure model includes four internal principal variables and three external principal factors. It consists of 28 concrete factors. Internal variables include individual attribute, individual prerequisite, social life of individual and restricting factors. External variables include leisure environment, supporting factors and factors of public leisure space.The paper analyses urban females' selection on public recreational space and its influencing factors by using descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and IPA analysis. The paper comes to empirical conclusion as follows: firstly, the daily choice of urban females' on public leisure space include community public space and walk street, the choice of weekend include walk streets and metropolitan park, the choice of holidays include tourist attractions and metropolitan park. Secondly, the urban female's satisfaction on the alternatives and quality of public leisure space is not high, and the expectation has a significant relation with educational level and living places. Thirdly, the factors which have high significance and good actual performance include the integrity of infrastructure, attraction of activities, recreational atmosphere and rationality of the charges. The 4 sides should improve emphatically in construction of public leisure space. Fourthly, the factors which have high significance and bad actual performance include governmental investment in public leisure space, leisure education and public guides. We also should pay close attention to the 3 sides when it comes to long term development.Combination with the conclusion of empirical analysis, this paper proposes corresponding active countermeasures from the guide of urban females' leisure behavior, planning and management of public leisure space, etc. The countermeasures are based on the contradiction existing in urban females' selection on public leisure space and its influencing factors.In this paper, the research results and analytical approach have certain reference value for academic on the research of the relationship between urban women females' behavior and public space, and also have certain reference value for practice on the construction and development of public leisure space.
