Research On The Informatization Construction Of EPC Project Management

At present, the development of informatization is growing quickly in the engineering industry. Regardless of the engineering or construction, we are increasingly concerned about how to improve the management level by the information technology. In the past, the informatization is split in the engineering and construction, the informatization of project management is the informatization of the construction project management.The EPC combines the advantages of the engineering and Construction, it has become a trend in recently. According to the characteristics of EPC project,how to carry out the informatization of the EPC,have not the same model.By analyzing the domestic and international the informatization of project management , According to the characteristics of EPC project ,we proposed a set of ideas. The contents of the main thesis research and innovation are as follows:Analyzed the characteristics,type of the EPC project, and proposed the general idea. EPC project emphasizes the engineering, procurement and construction coordination, how to use information technology to effectively coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, the informatization of EPC project is the idea of the starting point;Proposed the contents and architecture of the informatization of EPC. the informatization of EPC, including corporate level and the project level, how to integrate effectively the characteristics of them in the design of information systems, and maintain a certain level of scalability, In this paper,we have also discussed;Finally, through the examples of P3E/C Software System implementation successfully in the construction Institute we have illustrated specific steps,and development direction in the future in the informatization of the EPC project.
