Research On The Facilities Layout Optimization Method For The Manufacturing Enterprise

With the fierce market competition, the manufacturing enterprises are trying to cut their cost in order to increase their competitiveness, more and more technical engineer and manager began to pay attention to optimize facilities layout to reduction the production logistics cost. Facilities layout includes the design of new production system and the optimization of the old system. Generally speaking, the vast majority of manufacturing enterprises hope that they can reduce production cost through optimizing facilities layout instead of reconstruction of logistics system. And, with the increase of individuation which consumer demand, the manufacturing enterprises'production lines change from pipeline production to group unit production or customization production. The facilities units become more and more. Relationships between each other become more and more complex. Therefore, a simple facilities layout optimization method is an urgently problem for manufacturing enterprises to solve it.This thesis'research object is the layout of manufacturing facilities. Based on the traditional SLP method and mathematical model, combined the manufacturing enterprises'own characteristics, the thesis set up a new facilities layout optimization method——hierarchical layout optimization method, build the frame model of hierarchical layout optimization method and design the detailed process for this method. And thesis has developed a close degree index system for facilities unit and used and AHP method determined the weight of each index, then get the comprehensive rating by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Finally, the thesis designs the detailed process for every link of the hierarchical layout optimization method.Finally, the method was applied to a manufacturing enterprise (A company). At first, during the prototype applying process of the hierarchical layout optimization method, factory hierarchy facilities layout optimization,workshop hierarchy facilities layout optimization,virtual hierarchy facilities layout optimization have finish. An improvement idea has been built up. At last, build the production logistics simulation model using plant simulation software for original system and the improved system. Do the evaluation for this method through the simulation results. Inspect and verify the suitable and results of the method. At the present time,some research results have already been approved by A company and been implemented into company's layout, gained preferable effect.
