The Successful Experiences Of Typical Industrial Clusters In Foreign Countries And Its Inspiration

With the development of knowledge-based economy and the increasingly deepening of economic globalization, the development of industrial clusters has become a significant phenomenon among the development of global industries.By means of the promotion of the rapid development on information technology, information industry has become the world's fastest-growing leading industry.In developed countries, the output value of the information industry account for almost half of gross domestic product, while the labor force employed by the information industry account for more than 50% of the total employment amount.The development and research on the Information industrial cluster in abroad has reached a certain level, especially the success of information industrial clusters such as the Silicon Valley (United States) and Bangalore (India), which has been accepted and recognized as a world-class representative of the information industrial cluster.However, the formation and development process of many foreign information industrial cluster are different from each other. In the mean time, the development of domestic information industrial cluster has its inherent characteristics. Therefore, the in-depth analysis on the successful experiences of the typical foreign information industrial clusters has an important reference to the development of China's information industrial cluster.In this essay, the operating and developing mechanism of information industry clusters has been deeply analyzed base on the basic concepts, characteristics of the information industry cluster. On this basis, we analyzed the developing path, existing situation and characteristics of the typical foreign information industrial clusters, and summed up the successful experiences and put forward some countermeasures and suggestion according to actual development in China.This article is constituted of 5 chapters.Chapter 1: Introduction. It specifically explained the definitions of industrial cluster and information industry cluster, and gave a specific analysis on the factors of the impact on information industry cluster's development and operation as well as the life cycle of the information industry cluster.Chapter 3: Development progress and characteristics of typical foreign information industry clusters. It analyzed the development course and important factors of its success by the examples of Silicon Valley (United States), Bangalore (India) and Ireland.Chapter 4: The successful experience of typical foreign information industrial cluster development.
