Since the 1980s,with the development of market economy,in-depth reform of the rural,loosening mobility policy on urban and rural,as well as industrialization and urbanization advancement,more and more surplus rural laborers flock into cities.This kind of population's flowing is attacking the countryside tradition family pattern directly.Most of the migrant laborers are male,so many of jobs which should be undertaken by men or shared by the husband and wife fall completely onto the women at home.These women are known as the "home-staying women" These women have become the main force in building new rural areas. They turn the lead by supporting role and shoulder the hole family. Home-staying women are the unique social group which appears under our country characteristic industrialization and the urbanized pattern. These women affect the stability and development of rural areas from the political,economic,cultural,moral,legal and other aspects.It can say that they prop up half world of Chinese rural areas.But tremendous pressures and difficulties that home-staying women face haven't got appropriate attention.Millions of "separation families" form enormously unharmonious with the "harmonious society" which initiates at present. From the perspective of human capital,this paper analysis home-staying women in the construction of new rural areas,seriously studies how they grow,and their economic and social status,and what role they play in the construction of new socialist countryside so as to take better measures to solve the problems they have fundamentally and provide the human capital guarantee for which the entire social and economy progress continuously and steadily.
