QingDao Island Residents' Attitude Towards Tourism Impacts

With the booming of the tourism industry all over the world, the development of island tourism development promote the economy of island, improve the income of the islanders,break the fishing industry as the mainstay of a single economic model,so that the regional economy towards sustainable development. However,the development of tourism is bound to bring on the local economic,social cultural and environmental impact,and these impacts are possibly positive or negative. Therefore,it is of great significance that this paper investigate the perceptions and attitudes of residents about tourism,know the impact of tourism brought from the perspective of the residents.Not only be helpful for understanding the residents'attitudes to tourism development and tourism impacts to island,but also be helpful for scientific layout and exploiting the island tourism industry and protect island tourism.The purpose of this study has three objectives: analyze and summary the factor impacting the residents perceived;compare three island residents'perceive and attitude that the three island at different levels and different tourism development mode;validate the factors which affect the perception and attitudes of residents.After having analyzed the domestic and international present situation about island residents'attitude towards tourism impacts,it have discussed the major theoretical. Through analyzing Qing Dao island tourism total situation,it is compared the tourism development foundation of Tianheng,Lingshan and Zhucha three islands.This paper investigate the residents of the three Islands with the methods of empirical research. After factor analysis,found that the factor that impact residents perception has been divided into four,respectively,the positive perception factor,the negative perception factor,the demographic perception factors and the entirety perception factor. There isn't significant differences in residents'perceptions tourism at different development levels and mode of the island. After cluster analysis,the residents of Tian Heng island were classified as neutral passive,active supporters,the rational supporters and persons concerned;Lingshan Island residents have been divided into neutrality,contradiction supporters,active supporters and rational supporters ; Zhucha island residents were divided into contradictions supporters,rational supporters,active supporters and those who worry about.After correlation analysis, the study also found that gender,educational level and the tourism-related are the main factors that affected perceptions and attitudes of the residents.Through above analysis and discussion,it offered more feasibility opinion and suggestion for QingDao island tourism development.
