This study has investigated the relationship of person—organization value fit and job burnout of the knowledge employees,based on which the policy of human resource managements have been brought forward in order to interve and prevent the job burnout.This study has reviewed the correlative theories of job burnout,person—organization value fit and interventions of job burnout,based on which the academic design has been brought forward. The results are as follows:(1)Knowledge employees'burnout closes to the middle class,and the emotional failure most.(2)Person—organization value fit can effectively forecast job burnout.(3)Knowledge employees'burnout has significant differences in the demographic variables.(4) In different types of organization,there are significant differences about person—organization value fit. Foreign-invested enterprise is superior to state-owned enterprise and private enterprise.(5) In different types of organization,there are significant differences about job burnout. The employees of state-owned enterprises has the most serious job burnout,followed by private enterprises and foreign—funded enterprises.(6) According to the results of the literature research and the survey,this study has brought forward some real policies about prevention and intervention of job burnout for Chinese organizations.
