In the age of knowledge-based economy,the competition among enterprises is in essence the contest among talents.As the price tag of the capital for human resources,the salary functions as a suitable guidance on the flow of talents.How to attract,retain and motivate the core talents is a question worthy of deliberation for the enterprises.Compensation management is a double-edged sword for an enterprise,which will help to attract,retain and motivate the talents when used properly and otherwise lead to crisis of the enterprise.Compensation system is a prerequisite and an important part of the modern corporation system.In human resources management,compensation system has uttered its significance under these circumstances of fierce competition.How to build up a valid compensation system with competitiveness and motivation is of great importance to the enterprises.Based on the modern theories of compensation management,and having the EK Group Co.,Ltd.as the object of study,this thesis analyses the difficulties the company is faced with in human resources management,especially compensation management.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part depicts the background of the thesis,reasoning from both theory and practice.The second part mainly introduces on basic theories related to salary.The third part explains the status quo of the targeted company,specifically the problems in its compensation management.The fourth part redesigns the compensation system for the company. Finally,the fifth part outlines the necessary supportive mechanisms of the compensation system and thus relevant conclusions are reached.Through the study and exploration,the thesis aimed to provide a guideline and a feasible method for the company in solving its problems in human resources management,so as to put up a platform for it to attract,retain and cultivate talents.
