Shanghai Animation Industry Status, Problems And Solutions

This paper concentrates on these following questions: What's the current situation about the animation industry in Shanghai? What's the general condition of the environment, industry chains, including content production, marketing, and the related derivative trade? Which problems existed and which ways to solve them?This academic thesis records the history of animation industry in Shanghai, and also describes the industry environment. The author analyzes the industry from macroscopic and microscopic perspective, and points out existing issues, for example: rigid system, lack of creation, differentiation of chain, absence of talents and lag of education.In this paper, the author tries best to give solutions for the system, the content, the industry chain and the education. The author also thinks the market mechanism should be improved and local government should increase support; creation should be encouraged in content and form; single aspect in industrial chain must be broken through; animation education should be standardized. The paper looks into the future, aiming for providing policy support to the animation industry of China.
