With the stress of increasingly intense competition, human resource management has been promoted to strategic management level and human resource problems are attached more and more importance. As key part of incentive policy, Salary system is a core element and the first work of human resource management. Salary system, not only bears on the immediate interests of staff, but more importantly makes a strong impact on the competitiveness of enterprises. This paper, with shen lin Company, a private enterprise as its research objective, chases down Salary system of the enterprise, and points out the necessity and urgency of reforming its current Salary system in new market environment and new business strategies. Besides, this paper, basing on the enterprise status, in conjunction with relatively matured Salary theories, designs a Salary reform plan, for the sake of attracting and retaining talents; promoting them to strengthen the enterprise competitiveness with their knowledge, skills and creativity; and finally realizing mutual interests balance and maximization of both enterprise and staff.This paper is composed of five parts:The first part is foreword. It begins with an introduction of Salary theories, and points out the background and significance of this paper. The second part states the Salary system planning theory basis of this paper. The third part, it summarizes the Salary and Salary system problems of the enterprise, with analysis of the enterprise current Salary system and operation status, and further more states the objective of the reform plan. The fourth part designs a reform plan. The last but not least part makes preliminary salary estimation within the reformed Salary system and proposes implementation suggestions. Finally, this paper summarizes the theory and significance of this reform plan; discusses potential problems in the plan implementation and propose solution advices; and additionally this paper points out the disadvantages of this research. The third and fourth parts are key elements of this paper.
