Travel is one of the tourism industry leader in the travel industry , in our country the flourish travel industry's today, China's travel "small, scattered, weak, poor" characteristics prompted us to search for the root causes of problems.The paper select China's division of labor as the research object, applying of the method of comparative study from the concept of division of labor to start, and detailed elaborate the level division of labor and the emergence of vertical division of labor process, the typical patterns and their characteristics. Through the Travel industry phenomenon of the status quo, The paper point out that the level division of labor of our country at this stage exist in kinds of disadvantages, such as the big travels did not achieve economies of scale, low-profit in small and medium-sized travels and a variety of similar tourism products, and propose that Europe and the United States'vertical division of labor system should be learned. From both internal and external fact, demonstrating that China's travel level division of labor is not suitable for the present development of tourism, the division of labor should be carried out reform and reconstruction. The paper refute part of scholars who believe that at this stage the division of labor the reform soil is not yet mature, and illustrate that division of labor in our country at this stage have the feasibility of reform.Combing with the theoretical achievements of our predecessors and our own analysis, this paper finally concludes the target model of travel labor division reconstruction for condition of our country, that is, large travel agents groups, medium-sized travel agencies specialized and small travel agencies agents. And put forward measures, that is, amending the classification of travel agents, modifying the quality of bonds and registered travel agents and outbound travel industry policy adjustment.
