The Forecast Demand For Major Infrastructure In Global Dalian And Coordinated Management

With world economic crisis increasingly severe,the construction of infrastructure has been one of the key points to further expand domestic demand.The study of the major infrastructure demands of global Dalian is great significance not only for regional development in Dalian,but also for many other regional developments.Based on the above background,this paper systematically studies the major infrastructure of global Dalian using quantitative and qualitative methods.The main contents of this paper are:In the first part,a summary on global urban development and something about infrastructure in China and abroad is made.In the second part,to make "Global Chengdu" as a reference,a brief overview about the theory of global cities is taken.Based on sustainable development theory and regional coordinated development theory,this paper has made the connotation and characteristics of global cities.Then in terms of global cities,a brief analysis about Dalian spatial layout patterns is given.In the third part,the statuses of the major infrastructure of Dalian are described by power infrastructure,water infrastructure and transportation infrastructure.Then some research experiences are summarized.On this basis,the power consumption per capita,water resources per capita and road area per capita are determined by literature research and empirical analysis. The bearing capacity of power infrastructure,water infrastructure and transportation infrastructure are analyzed and explained.In the fourth part,electricity consumption per million GDP model,road area per capita model and quota of water demand are built on the basis of Shanghai and Dalian relevant data by empirical analysis,comparative study and econometric methods.Then we forecast the demands in 2020 of South of Jinzhou,Jinzhou,Pulandian,Wafangdian,Zhuanghe, Changxingdao and Huayuankou,and show some data about research results.Some improvements about infrastructure construction are proposed briefly.In the last part,according to some problems among the developments of global Dalian, some corresponding measures are advised in the point of coordinated management with the purposes of ensuring that the developments of global Dalian perform successfully. According to the research results,we found that the power infrastructure can bear population scale basically,while water infrastructure and transportation infrastructure have been overload bearing in Dalian at present.In the future,Dalian should strengthen infrastructure construction and layout with the power,water and transportation demands of every area,improve resource utilization efficiency simultaneously and make the resources coordinated and unblocked by some management measures such as information.
