Competency-Based Education is called CBE. Its springboard is to analyze vocational role's activity from all sides and its basic fundamental is to provide industry group and society with the ability which is needed when training people performs post responsibility. It is emphasized that students are on the dominant status during the course of learning. Synchronously, it's core is how to make students have actual activities which are necessary when they engage some occupations. Many foreign countries often call this kind of education model CBE, which is translated into CBVE (Competence Based Vocational Education), CBT (Competence Based Training). For the time being, as far as vocational education and training are concerned, many countries are actively carrying out CBE reform, with Australia, Canada, England, America as representatives. AS the theoretical principle, chapter 2 explains the intension, characteristic and dominant of CBE with circumstance.Then it summarizes the development actuality of typical case of competence based education: TAFE (Technical And Further Education), the successful CBE educational model. This part of study provide the wonderful enlightenment of the subsequent study: integrated teaching model of CBE. The tendency of economical globalization is obvious day by day. Facing the complex world , the higher vocational education not only takes the education important constituent ,but also it becomes the important foundation of the society development, meanwhile it is the important way to promote the employment and help the economical development, enhancing the country's competitive ability. The higher educational colleagues and universities will tale"The higher technical talented technical persona"as the target, and take"ability standard"as core pattern. This model will be not only kind rational thought, but also will be the higher vocational education echoing modern economic life. Chapter 3 and 4 make lots of detailed study. In recent years, under the instruction of"ability standard", the curriculum educational model and appraisal theory research have a bigger progress, but we still have insufficient research , even also have some one-sided, and wrong understandings, Meanwhile, we have limited experience about the"ability standard"educational model. The chapter 5 and 6 draws up from of integrated teaching model of CBE to comprehensively and systematically analyze the implication .This pattern raise a new method for Tourism higher vocational education. Simultaneously the author hopes it can give some enlightenments and inspiration as for the higher vocational education's raising talented person's questions.
