Analysis On The Tourism Spatial Structure In Shandong Province Based On Expressway

Tourism spatial structure is the projection of tourism elements in space, and it reflects the geographical combination and relevance of the tourism elements. Identifying tourism elements is the base of researching tourism spatial structure. Based on the existed research and considering the purposes, this paper mainly analyzes the tourism spatial structure of Shandong Province from three aspects, the tourist destination, the tourist flows and tourism traffic. As an important component of the tourism system, tourism traffic is the important support and protection of the regional tourism development, and the impact of expressways can not be ignored. This paper selects Shandong Province as the research object and the expressway as the breakthrough point to analyze the tourism spatial structure in Shandong Province, the expressway impact of the tourism spatial structure in Shandong Province and propose a solution of optimizing the tourism spatial structure.First of all, this paper determines the research system under the guidance of the tourism system theory, pole-axis theory, tourism location theory, landscape ecology and growth pole theory. The research system mainly uses qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and spatial analysis of geographic information system to research the impact of expressway on tourism destination, the tourist flows and tourism traffic spacial structure in Shandong province. The basic data this paper mainly used is the relevant expressway data about the tourism destination, tourist flows and tourist traffic spatial structure status of Shandong Province.Second, after determining the research techniques route as well as basic data, this paper analyzes the different influence of expressway on the tourism destination, tourist flows and tourism traffic spatial structures through comparing the status quo and long-term planning quo of expressway. The impact of expressway on tourism destination is mainly manifested in the relationship with the tourist attractions, accessibility and geographical impact. The impact on tourist flows is mainly manifested in non-balanced geographical development. The impact on tourist traffic is mainly manifested in the improving accessibility and more and more spatial contact of transport. Finally, in view of spatial tourism structure of the status quo period and the planning period time period in Shandong province, this paper proposes the targeted optimizing measures. The optimization of the tourism spatial structure in Shandong Province should contain five measures. Firstly, expressway plays the role of tourism information carrier and means to diverting the tourist flow, so we should use it to adjust tourism spatial structure. Secondly, we should optimize the tourist routes and narrow the difference between the tourism industries. Thirdly, we should comprehensively promote the spatial pattern development of"two poles– two ties-four areas". Fourthly, it is better to carry out targeted promotions. Fifthly, consulting the experience of Tourist-dedicated Train, we can design expressway special tourism products.
