| Tour guide service, considered as "the soul of tourism industry", is a crucial part of modern tourism, and is related to the whole image of this industry. In recent years, however, the negative publicity on this field keeps increasing. The reason for it is varied, the complexity and characteristic of the job, the emotion involved, the sustainability, and the high expectation. It undertakes a lot of pressure, and produces unexpected some phenomenons, like job burnout, and negativity, which all contribute to the bad influence on the whole development of this industry.Based on the importance of tour guide service, this thesis mainly talks about the purpose and direction of research on this subject through analyzing the situation home and abroad:Firstly, through reading professional material, it makes a comprehensive analysis on its definition, forming, the reasons and the measurement.Secondly, it does some analysis about the job burnout situations in Hunan, by using questionnaire, census drawn by EXCE L and SPSS14.0 as well as the adoption of MBI-GS form. Through the statistics, T-inspection, unvaried analysis, two-way analysis of variance, it discusses the reasons for the job burnout, which are:1, the situation of job burnout is serious, especially the exhaustion and low efficiency. 2, the variables on vital statistic, like gender, marriage status , are closely related to the job burnout; factors, like age, length of service, salary, are partially related to job burnout; while education and working hours is not necessarily related to it. 3, the pressure on job and the job burnout is positive correlated: the situation is more serious while have more stress; the social support and job burnout is negatively correlated. The more supportive, the less the situation is.Finally, based on the reasons analyses, it probes the strategies of preventing and solving this problem. Hence, the theory could be enriched and the some practical suggestion can be applied. |
