Guide service is the key link of modern tour activity.The complexity and diversity of guide service were decided by the occupation characteristic of that. Guide's working is a special occupation,needing guides investing a great deal of emotion and working continuously strong,also a special occupation expected highly by the service objects.Because the guide should born the different pressures from tour reception service,it is inevitable to come into being job burnout and job negative phenomenon. It has produced adverse influence on the guide,the guide working and the development of tour industry.Based on the importance of guide themselves and the guide working,this thesis,setting out from the guide occupation characteristics,with the full-time guide for research object in Shandong province parts of cities,has carried on a thorough research to the guide job burnout,on the basis of many data analysis and questionnaire survey,in order to promote the whole development of guide troops.Being based on analysing the current situation of job burnout at home and abroad,this thesis put forward the research method,technique route and ideological line for the guide's job burnout study.Following that ,it first introduced the guide's concept and occupation characteristics,then it analysed the concept and influence of the guide's job burnout.This thesis, which was supported by a great deal of questionnaire and mathematics method,selected Maslach Burnout Inventory to quantify the guide's job burnoutdegree in Shandong province. Although the guide's job burnout degree was not serious, the harm of that had already put a deep influence in the guide troops and tour industry.So it is very necessary to exlpore the root of guide's job burnout.The thesis has analysed the burnout root in detail,conciderring the internal and external causes,eg,the guide themselves ,the occupation, tissue and social environment of guide's. Studies found that the guide was prone to suffer the job burnout crisis.Therefore,it put forward the corresponding countermeasures ,and set up the system to intervene and solve the guide's job burnout from the travel agency, the tour administration ,society and the guide's personal aspect.As a whole ,by in-depth investigation and comprehensive analysis,it comes to the follow conclusion of study: I,the guide's job burnout measures of Shandong province is not serious, but its adverse influence and result present developmental tendency.II,the job burnout of the guide is the interactive result from the guide , the occupation, tissue and social environment of guide's.III, to set up the system of intervening and solving the guide's job burnout ,we should consider many aspects such as the travel agency,the tour administration,society and the guide.The innovation of this study is inducing the basic theories about the guide's job burnout;selecting the Maslach Burnout Inventory一Human Services Survey as the measure tool,quantifing the three dimensions of the guide's job burnout,eg,emotional exhaustion,depersonalization,reduced personal accomplishment;setting up the the job burnout model of guide elementarily.At the same time,the thesis discusses some deficences,for example,the study about the measure of the guide's job burnout;the countermeasure to intervene and solve the job burnout needed to be expensed.All of that are research direction about the guide's job burnout in future.
