With the economic development and improvement of living standards, more and more customers have been favored with products or services meet their own personal demand. For the manufacturing enterprise, the traditional mass production can simply help them to reduce costs, but can not win a competitive advantage for enterprises. Through mass customization, enterprises will be able to offer the customers customized products and service with the speed and efficiency of mass production and highly improve customer satisfaction. With respect to the traditional mass production technology, mass customization gives the enterprise new opportunities to win the commercial competition. To those enterprise provide customers with a variety of customized products, the orders need to be met in a timely manner, with the characteristics of perishable, which makes enterprises will not be able to rely on a simple inventory to meet changes in demand and therefore the earnings depend on the capacity utilization. Revenue management is a advanced concept for the management of perishable products or services. Internationally, revenue management has been widely used in the airline industry, hotels and rail transport industries. Therefore, introduce revenue management into mass customization have positive theoretical and practical significance.Based on the conditions of the application of revenue management theory, combined with the characteristics of mass customization, the article pointing out that it is feasible to introduce the concept of revenue management into mass customization. The multi-product customization system provides customers with a variety of different products, in the production process of which will share part of the production capacity. How to distribute the capacity to meet the needs of different levels of products to carry out a best income is the key issue in the multi-product customization system. To solve this issue, this article found two kinds of mathematical models to verify the nature and feasibility. In content, this paper includes five chapters. Chapter I Introduction, introduced the research background, indicated the issue of distribution of shared capacity, briefly introduced the research ideas and research methods of this article, and analyzes the significance of the study. Chapter II is summary of revenue management. Indicate the history and research of revenue management study, focusing on an analysis of the application conditions of revenue management theory. Chapter III, Revenue Management in Mass Customization, introduced the theory of mass customization system and the environmental characteristics of mass customization, pointed out that it is feasible to introduce revenue management into mass customization. Chapter IV of the multi-product customization system capacity allocation model based on revenue management, which is the core of this article, found two kinds of mathematical models to verify the nature and feasibility. Chapter V Summary and Outlook, this chapter summarizes the research results achieved, and make prospects for future research directions. The results of research in this article both theoretical and practical significance. From the point of view of theoretical research, academic field is lack of research on the revenue management in mass customization, the subject of this research is very important and necessary to fill vacancies in theory, and promote the development of theoretical research; from the point of view of reality application, the subject of this research will provide enterprises of mass customization with the introduction of the concept of revenue management to improve the competitiveness of our manufacturing sector and provide the theoretical basis and practical guidance to be widely applied.
