Research On Impact Evaluation Of Railway On Economy And Society In Metroplitan Coordinating Region

Metropolitan Coordinating Region(MR) is an important form of regional spatial structure,where intensive relation between core city and other cities inside shape a circle-like structure.The closely contact between core and other inner cities depends on a strong traffic network as support.The forming and developing of MR rely on the guiding function of transports.Modes of transportation in its inter-city include railways, highways,waterways,etc.,with its convenient,fast and safe,railways has made contribution to the socio-economic in metropolitan coordinating region.The paper analyzes systemically the international and domestic study concerning theory.From five aspects,considers that railways not only promote the overall regional economic growth in metropolitan coordinating region,but also improve accessibility and industrial structure and urbanization,enhance economic ties in space,etc.the paper makes a theoretical basis for the later quantitative analysis and provide the basis for constructing Evaluation Index System.The paper builds theoretical modals and a case analysis of Jing-Jin-Ji metropolitan coordinating region,from the two evaluation perspectives,such as the dimension of time and space.From the time dimension,use DEA method,consider the railways-system and socio-economic-system as input and output variables, comparatively analyze the impact index each year.From the space dimension,use the above result,consider the year as the advanced study object,comparatively analyze the different cities' socio-economic indicators.Finally,use the regression method,establish the function relationship between the socio-economic indicators and railways of cities in metropolitan region,Quantify the contribution of railways.Finally,through the combination and conclusion of the whole analysis results,and on the basis of the study on the reasons,the paper presents the policy suggestions on how to exert the induct function of railways to promote the society and economic development of Jing-Jin-Ji metropolitan coordinating region in the future.
