Traffic problems are deteriorating more and more seriously because of faster and faster urbanization in the world. The imbalance between the urban residents' public transportation travel demand and the relative backward of the public transportation infrastructure and management means is the primary principal contradiction of the urban public transportation. The emergence of the regional operating model,as one of the current development trends of the urban public transportation system, provides the opportunity to resolve the contradiction. To develop a timetable, which can sharply reduce the waiting time when passengers are getting transfer at the crossing station between lines,is one of the key tasks to realize the regional operating. This thesis summarizes the theories and models of the regional timetable at home and abroad, and analyzes the disadvantages of the models. Then according to practical situation in China, introduces Passenger Expected Transfer Time and Passenger Transfer Dissatisfaction to the problem of regional timetable, and puts forward the concept of Public Transportation Transfer Manner. On this basis, this paper builds the multiobjects model of regional timetable and converts the problem to getting best balance between traffic demand of single line and the whole satisfaction on the region.According to the characteristics of the model, this thesis gets a group of Pareto Optimum by using NSGA2.And the solutions give the public transportation operators an opportunity to make a trade-off and choice between single line demand and regional service. At last, this thesis makes an experiment based on the real traffic demand data, and the result proves the applicability of the model and algorithm.
