Study On The Promotion And Application Countermeasures Of Biological Pesticides For Tea Production In Anxi County

Tea industry was the lifeline of the national economy of Anxi County, and tea quality was good or not mattered if the tea industry in Anxi County could achieve healthy, stable, sustained and rapid development. On the basis of summarizing the situation of domestic and overseas research and application of biological pesticides and usage and problems of biological pesticides for tea production in Anxi County, the paper puts forward the countermeasures of promoting and applying the biological pesticides for tea production in Anxi County.With the rapid development of tea planting and production scale, it draws the high attention that pesticide residue is overproof in the tea. One of the most serious problems, hindering the healthy, stable, sustained and rapid development of tea industry, is the overproof pesticide residue and pollution of heavy metal. If they could not be solves with the forceful and valid measures, it would not break the"Green Barrier"set by the tea-imported countries such as EU and Japan and the situation will be further worse.Because of the advantages of the high quality of environmental compatibility and little pest resistant, biological pesticides met the needs of the modern society requirements of tea industry. Therefore, the application of biological pesticides could promote the further development of Anxi tea production.The application area of biological pesticides is increasing each year for tea production in Anxi County. From 2005 to 2007, the application area raised from 20,000 mu to 85,000 mu. The output of tea increased from 1,900 tons to 8,800 tons and the output value accordingly increased from 13.2 million Yuan to 866 million Yuan.As a new agricultural technology, the promotion of biological pesticides in tea industry was troubled by a variety of factors those were as follows: To apply the biological pesticides to plant diseases and insect pests of tea is high cost and slow effect, the utilizing conditions of biological pesticides is quite high, and tea farmers were often affected by traditional concepts, behaviors and habits in using biological pesticides to control pest diseases. Because of those reasons, biological pesticides was not applied and promoted widely, and it was difficult to achieve further rapid development in the promotion and application of biological pesticides for tea production in Anxi County.Based on the investigation on the history and status of promotion and application of the biological pesticides in Anxi County tea, this paper analyzed the important role and problems of biological pesticides in Anxi tea production and then proposed related development measures which were as follows: the government should play macro-control function, tea farmers should change traditional values, tea factories and agricultural departments at all levels should play their respective roles. At the same time, it is necessary to reform the tea supply and marketing system. Through profit and property rights ties, we should combine the businesses and farmers, the production, supply and marketing, agriculture, industry and trade as a community of interests, and then vigorously promote the use of biological pesticides in Anxi tea production.
